How To Draw A Cute Dog Easy ?
How To Draw A Cute Dog Easy :- I’ve been eagerly anticipating the arrival of my new furry friend, so dog doodles have been filling my mind lately! I adore sketching adorable dogs and puppies on the pages of my bullet journal.
When it comes to doodling, I like to dedicate entire pages to my favorite doodles on a specific theme – in this case, dogs. It’s like creating my very own ‘doodle library’ for future reference.
Having a collection of cute doodles allows me to easily incorporate them into new page spreads whenever inspiration strikes.
Once my new dog arrives, I’ll be incorporating plenty of dog-themed spreads into my bullet journal, such as training logs, feeding schedules, vet appointments, and even a calendar for our daily walks. And of course, these doodles will be the perfect embellishments for those pages!
I’m excited to share my future dog-themed bullet journal spreads with you all. In fact, here’s a peek at my recent dog doodle page in my bujo. I had a blast bringing these adorable doodles to life!

How To Draw A Cute Dog Easy Dog Drawing Instructions
Step 1: Begin by sketching an oval shape for the snout. You can opt for a perfect oval or a slightly boxy one, whichever you prefer.
Step 2: Above the oval, draw an inverted U shape to form the head. Don’t forget to add the nose. You can make it round or triangular, depending on your preference.
Step 3: Add the ears. Consider drawing droopy or folded ears for a classic look, but feel free to experiment with different shapes like pointy or button ears.
Step 4: Complete the dog’s face by adding two spots for eyes and eyebrows above them. Draw a straight line extending from the snout for the mouth, and add a wavy line to represent the lips. Don’t forget to sketch the front pair of legs.
Step 5: Move on to drawing the body.
Step 6: Finally, add a pair of hind legs and a wiggly tail to complete the dog’s outline.
Congratulations, you’ve mastered the basics of drawing a dog!
Color: Once you’ve finished your dog drawing, you can add color to bring it to life.
Tips and Tricks
To enhance realism in your drawing, consider adding highlights and shading with pencils. Texture can be created by sketching fur, and paying attention to special characteristics can help capture a dog’s unique personality. Details such as spots can add individuality to your drawing.
For a cartoon-style dog, use the basic dog sketch provided and focus on drawing bold black lines. You can exaggerate facial features, making the eyes and nose larger, and perhaps giving the dog big, floppy ears.
If you prefer color, try using colored pencils, watercolors, markers, or oil pastels to add personality to your drawing.
With these simple steps, you now know how to draw a dog easily! With the vast array of dog breeds available, there are endless possibilities for your dog drawings.
